No Borders Orchestra

FUTURE

The No Borders Orchestra has a long term mission. Every year the orchestra performs several new programmes at festivals in the region as well as in different cultural capitals of Europe. NBO’s sustainability will be obtained through long-term growing partnerships with other cultural bodies in the region.

ACTIVITIES

2019 Annual Summer Tour: “B Matinee”
Showcasing new works by five exciting young composers from Western Balkans, interspersed with classical pieces, the NBO string ensemble will tour nightclubs and other unconventional venues across the region and also in Europe. The tour commemorates 30 years of the Fall of the Berlin Wall and celebrates the fall of walls between classical music and clubbing culture.

2020 Annual Summer Tour: “New Energy”
In the 250th anniversary year of Beethoven’s birth, NBO will tour a unique performance of Beethoven’s great tribute to the natural world, his Pastoral Symphony, addressing one of the most burning issues of our time: ecology.
